Alpha PetCare is the trading name of Alpha Pet Care (Pvt) Ltd, an online pet care store operating in Sri Lanka under business registration number 260327025. You can reach us at alphapetcare.lk@gmail.com or +94 70 507 1910.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies referenced within them. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

Orders are accepted for delivery within Sri Lanka only. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

By placing an order, you also confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are placing the order under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Product images on the site reflect the actual items we ship, except for certain toys where the colour or pattern may vary. All products are subject to availability. We do not accept pre-orders for out-of-stock items — if an item is unavailable, it will not be listed for purchase.

All food, treats, and supplements stocked by Alpha PetCare are selected on veterinary advice and are guaranteed to have a minimum shelf life of 3 months from the date of delivery.

• All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
• Prices may change without notice, but the price you are charged is the price shown at the time you place your order.
• We accept the following payment methods:
  • Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Online card payment via the Geany payment gateway
• We may decline or withdraw Cash on Delivery (COD) for delivery addresses or customers with a history of repeated failed delivery attempts (for example, where the courier could not complete delivery because the recipient was unavailable or the address was incorrect). In such cases, you may still place an order using online card payment.
• In the rare event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order — it does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.

You may cancel your order free of charge within 1 hour of placing it. After that, the order moves into preparation and cannot be cancelled.

Checkout is available as a guest — no account is required to place an order.

• Coverage: we deliver island-wide across Sri Lanka via our courier partner, Koombiyo.
• Timeframe: standard delivery is 1–3 business days from dispatch. Timeframes are estimates — delays may occur due to courier schedules, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Delivery charges:
  • Orders up to LKR 999 — LKR 450
  • Orders between LKR 1,000 and LKR 9,999 — LKR 399
  • Orders of LKR 10,000 or more — free shipping
• Same-day delivery is not currently offered.
• Failed delivery: Koombiyo will attempt delivery up to 3 times. If all attempts fail because the recipient is unreachable or the address is incorrect, the order will be returned to us. There is no additional re-delivery fee, but you are responsible for providing an accurate address and being reachable.
• Force majeure: in the event of natural disasters, severe weather, public emergencies, civil unrest, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, courier services may be suspended or delayed. Delivery attempts may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled. We may cancel affected orders and refund amounts paid for items we cannot fulfil, in line with our Refund Policy.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or resell our content, product images, or data without written permission;
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the site, including introducing viruses or attempting unauthorised access.

All content on this site — including the Alpha PetCare name, logo, product photography, copy, and design — is the property of Alpha Pet Care (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Sri Lanka, Alpha Pet Care (Pvt) Ltd's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, this website, or any order or product shall not exceed the purchase price you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Refunds and returns are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Time limits and evidence requirements for reporting issues are also set out in that policy.

We collect only the information necessary to fulfil your order — your name, address, phone number, and email. We do not collect this information for marketing purposes and we do not send marketing emails or SMS.

Your information is shared only with the third parties required to deliver your order: our courier partner (Koombiyo) for shipping, and our payment gateway (Geany) for online card payments. We do not sell your data.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute, claim, or matter arising out of or in connection with this website, our services, or these Terms (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
